A plain-language overview of how this preview works today and what the live service will need to explain.

Prototype draft: These pages are written for the current preview. Before RentAndTell is public, have a qualified attorney review and tailor them to the live product, locations, verification process, and data practices.

This local preview

In this downloadable preview, reviews, claims, photos, owner responses, and helpful votes are stored only in your browser. They are not sent to RentAndTell or shared with other visitors.

What a live version may collect

A live service may collect account and contact information, review content, property information, uploaded photos, verification records, device or log information, and reports submitted for moderation. The final public privacy policy must explain each category, why it is used, how long it is retained, and what choices people have.

How information should be used

Information should be used to operate RentAndTell, prevent abuse, verify claims, communicate with users, moderate content, improve the product, and meet legal obligations. Private verification information should not be shown publicly.

Your choices

For the public launch, users should be able to request access, correction, deletion, or export where required by applicable law. Questions should have a dedicated privacy contact.
